Solon, OH (February 9, 2011) -Awareness is growing for a great cause, registering for bone marrow testing and saving lives. Cequent Consumer Products brands Reese Towpower®, and HIGHLAND are part of the reason why this cause is being recognized on a national scale. Reese Towpower®, and HIGHLAND are sponsors for multiple 2011 races for the #47 Toyota Camry driven by Champion NASCAR driver Bobby Labonte. The car is owned by JTG Daugherty Racing. In the 33rd annual Shootout on Saturday, February 12 at Daytona Speedway, sponsors Reese Towpower®, and HIGHLAND have given prime space on the #47 back panel to promote www.getswabbed.org, a site of the DKMS organization, the world's largest bone marrow donor center in the world. The car will also picture six-year-old Jordan Jemsek who in need of a bone marrow transplant to survive her battle with acute myeloid leukemia, a cancer of the blood and bone marrow.

After hearing Jordan's story in The Charlotte Observer, and successfully getting Reese Towpower on board to promote bone marrow donation awareness in an upcoming race, the JTG Daugherty Race team and Bobby Labonte set out to personally visit Jordan Feb. 7, 2011 at the Presbyterian's Hemby's Children's Hospital in Charlotte, N.C., near where the race team is located. During the visit, the team told Jordan and her mother about Reese Towpower's generosity for donating the space on the back of the #47 car to picture Jordan and http://www.getswabbed.org/ drawing attention to the need for bone marrow donors. "We're thankful for Reese Towpower's support in our efforts to help Jordan," Labonte said. The teams visit lifted Jordan and her and her mom's spirits!

Camera crews accompanied JTG, Bobby and the team's visit. The special aired on NASCAR RACE HUB a show on SPEED Channel.

It also appeared as a feature on the home page of www.MSN.com, one of the leading sites for national news on the web as well as appearing on several hundred other websites.

The story also deeply touched NASCAR fans. Fans are commenting wherever the story is posted online.
