Cequent Consumer Products launches new website
new site features company and consumer benefits

Solon, OH (June 13, 2011) - Cequent Consumer Products is excited to announce the debut of the new company website that is more focused on the end consumer. Phase one of the site is launching today with a new web address of www.CequentConsumerProducts.com.  Cequent Consumer Products, the leader in innovative towing and cargo securing products for the automotive, recreation, and trailering aftermarket has built a new website that is a marketing person’s dream.

“Our site will be ever changing,” said Shannon Ketvertes, Cequent Consumer Products Communications Manager. “One of the best features about this site, for me, is that I can make edits to our content in real time that will help us to provide the latest information available to our website visitors.”

Cequent Consumer Product’s new website was also built to provide educational and informational resources developed for the end consumer and the media. It has many new external features including: a corporate blog, media resource center, consumer learning center, rotating advertising banners, a product testimonial center, an enewsletter program, frequently asked question section, unlimited press releases and “member’s only” access areas for Cequent employees and the media. The site also will feature new company videos, downloads of Cequent’s three complete product catalogs, beautiful new design that includes easy navigation and emphasis on Cequent’s five industry leading brands as well as a focus on Cequent’s products. 

“We are excited to make available the initial launch of Cequent Consumer Products’ new website,” said Francis Bernart, Vice President of Marketing, Cequent Consumer Products. “This launch is part of an enhanced ongoing marketing initiative to make the most up-to-date information about our company, brands and products available.” 

The former website for Cequent Consumer Products, www.cequent-cpi.com will remain live until the end of the month and then the site will redirect web traffic to the new site www.CequentConsumerProducts.com.

In preparation for the new website Cequent Consumer Products has also recently launched a YouTube Channel, and four other social media accounts for the company’s leading brands Highland and Reese. Those two brands now each have a Twitter and Facebook account to communicate to consumers and help generate product awareness.
